We all meditate in our own special ways. One does not have to be spiritual in a strict sense to achieve a state of meditation. In fact, spiritual experiences are the end results and not the necessary prerequisite for effective meditation. Artists mediate when they are busy with their artwork; musicians meditate when they are engrossed in their musical work. One can meditate while ironing clothes, washing utensils, cleaning the floor or cooking a meal for the family.
